The students at Grace Lutheran Church in Menno pledged to raise $100 for the new playground at Joy Ranch. We bring change and collect it in a Piggy Bank for our birthdays throughout the Sunday School year. This year we collected $200!! We really enjoyed watching you grow and listening to your stories about the construction-how exciting!! Thank you for providing such a great place for children and families to gather.

Dear Sven,
We have worked all year as your playground as our "Mission Project". We hope our donation will help out with the playground equipment. We started our project by decorating your picture and putting it on a small Pringles can that our teachers helped make into a piggy bank. We all saved at home and returned our cans to church on Palm Sunday and counted our savings as a group for you. We are enclosing a picture of our Sunday school classes from "Our Sacior Lutheran Church" in Corsica, SD alonf with our check for $719.49.

Dear Sven,
Enclosed is a check for $216.11 for Sven’s Playground. Our Sunday School has 7 members so we asked other members of the church to help us. We’re really happy they did! In order to let the church know about our project we included the following notice in the bulletin:
Rather than a gift exchange at Sunday School, cash donations will be received for Sven’s Playground Project at Joy Ranch. This will be a wheelchair accessible playground. There will be a can at the back of the church until January 3rd and all members of the church are welcome to contribute. Thank you.
We plan to send in more money near the end of the Sunday School year. Hopefully we can take a trip to Joy Ranch soon. We’re excited to meet you and see the camp. Thanks for the letters and work sheets each month.

Dear Sven,
Hope that the snow and the cold are treating you ok. All of us at Brandon had a snow day yesterday.
During the month of November, we put all of our offering together that we bring up when we go up front for the children's sermon on Sunday mornings. We collected this money to help build your playground for EVERYONE that will be coming to Joy Ranch.
We think what you are doing is really cool, and many of us hope that we'll be able to come and see it sometime.
