    Hike, canoe on the lake, ride a horse, worship around the campfire, go on an overnight campout, have fun on the challenge course, try your archery skills, enjoy an interactive Bible study, meet new friends, eat great food, and hang out with a super cool counselor!

    Through small groups, peer ministers learn ways to become welcoming and accepting, awareness of the hurts and needs of others, and how to be caring listeners. Visits to Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore included.

  • Begins June 11-16 - FULL

    Join Outlaw Ranch for three weeks of incredible experiences and learning. The first week, CITs will join Peer Ministry, gaining knowledge in becoming a caring listener. Team building and learning sessions, similar to what staff experience during training, will fill week two. The final week, CITs learn directly from counselors in a cabin as they join in managing a cabin full of campers.

  • This small-group adventure experience includes full-day or part-day adventures such as hiking or overnight backpacking, biking on the Mickelson Trail, lake and creek kayaking, caving, service projects, and the low ropes challenge course and trail ride. The week includes daily worship, Bible study, great food and awesome counselors. Church leaders bringing a group to Adventures will be asked to help provide transportation to the adventure activities.

    During this small group program focusing on horses, you will learn to care for your own horse, including: feeding, brushing, saddling, and taking long rides. No previous riding experience necessary. Enjoy daily Bible study, worship, games, and singing along the trail.

    Spend a week on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation listening to Native American speakers, playing with Lakota youth, working on a service project, worshipping together, and learning about issues of poverty, diversity, multiculturalism, and Lakota spiritual belief and practice. Make new friends as you become immersed in Lakota culture. The first 3 weeks are located at the Pine Ridge Retreat Center, and the last 5 weeks are located at Red Shirt Village.

    The SunCatcher Therapeutic Riding Academy is an equine horse therapy program for children, teens, and adults with disabilities or special needs, and for disadvantaged children. SunCatcher Mission Trip participants will learn to lead horses, assist riders with mounting and balance, and celebrate the independence and joy that riding offers people of varying abilities. You may also help to prepare facilities and props for the riders.

    Spend time riding a horse, hiking, in Bible Study and worship, and meeting new friends.
    No horse experience necessary (staff will train you).

  • June 23-24

    Come, explore camp through worship, singing, crafts, Bible study, games and much more! This program offers a chance for K-5th grade campers and parents/grandparents to pack all of the fun and adventure of camp into 24 hours. This camp experience can help prepare younger campers for a full week in future years. It’s a blast you don’t want to miss!
