    Join your Confirmation group this summer for a week of adventure and service learning at NeSoDak. The days will be filled with activities such as kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and biking. Together, as you learn what it means to live out your faith, you'll participate in service learning projects at camp or within a nearby community. This is a week that’s sure to be a highlight within your Confirmation journey!

    As you pack your bags for camp this summer, don’t forget to grab your favorite adult! This introductory camping experience is for campers and parents, grandparents, or guardians. Enjoy the amenities of staying in the climate controlled Lodge while we pack a fast-moving camp experience into 48 hours.

    Come to camp for a 2-night adventure this summer filled with activities from sun up to sun down. Along with your cabin buddies, you’ll find yourself swimming, playing games, making crafts, learning how to kayak, finger fishing, and enjoying excellent camp food. Each night concludes with a campfire overlooking the sunset and a devotion. If you’re an early riser, you might find yourself chasing the Road Runner or jumping into the lake with the Polar Bear for a certificate, suitable for framing!

    Get ready for a week-long adventure full of laughter and learning! Each day is filled with worship, Bible study, games, crafts, and great camp food. Don’t forget your swimsuit as you’ll need it to go canoeing and participate in the official camp olympics. You’ll spend one of your nights camping out in a tent underneath the stars and roasting marshmallows around the campfire with your cabin buddies.

    This week is sure to be filled with your favorite camp activities such games, tie-dye, swimming, paddle boating, kayaking, and of course, canteen time. You’ll find yourself participating in new adventures such as paddling across the bay to cook breakfast over the fire and spending a night in a tent under the stars. Most importantly, you’ll find opportunities to explore and grow in your faith through Bible study and devotion alongside your counselor and new friends in your cabin.

    Pack your bags and bring a friend to a fun-filled week of camp at NeSoDak. The week will begin with team building and community building, as you grow together as a cabin group and get to know your counselor. You’ll find yourself participating in all camp games, Bible studies, boat devotions, and for those feeling adventurous, paddle board yoga. Overnight camping trips to Pickerel Lake, meals cooked over the fire, and sleeping under stars are sure to be filled with memories.

  • July 9-14

    Spend your week on Pelican Island—a large island on Lake Enemy Swim! You’ll cook over the fire, camp in tents, worship on the beach, and spend plenty of time boating and swimming. Experienced adventure staff will teach you all of the skills you need to partake in a weeklong camping adventure off of the grid, while also heading back to camp for some of the NeSoDak Classics—like an early morning Polar Bear or the Christ Hike.

  • August 6-11

    Share your musical talents at camp this summer as you gather and grow together while producing a musical! In one week, you will learn lines, design the set, and practice to perfection as you perform the musical on Friday night for family and friends. The week is also packed with fun camp activities such as swimming, boating, Bible study, campfire, and great camp food!

  • July 16-21

    Whether you’ve had some experience with archery, or you’ve never picked up a bow and arrow, this week is for you! Spend time each day shooting and improving your skills and technique. Campers will have the opportunity to take their Bowhunter Education class, or just enjoy a week of growing as an archer. When not on the range, campers will camp under the stars, spend time on the lake, and worship together!

  • 3rd-6th Grade: June 25-30

    Grab your fishing pole and tackle box and join us for a week on Lake Enemy Swim. The week will be spent learning new fishing skills such as knot tying and casting along with learning techniques for catching a variety of species. Older youth will have the opportunity to fish on area lakes and give kayak fishing a try! When not on the water, you’ll spend your time with your cabin mates participating in Bible study, worship, paddle boarding, and all camp games. Thursday night will be a celebration including fishing prizes and a fish fry.

    Join us on an adventure to the Crow Wing River in Minnesota! You and your experienced Adventure Instructors will paddle down the river, camping along the way. Relax in the sun, try out a rope swing, and cook your meals over the fire. Your group will explore God’s love in sunset devotions, morning worships, and community!

  • July 23-28

    Spend your week on the water—enjoying some of the beautiful lakes in South Dakota! Begin on Lake Enemy Swim, where you’ll learn the basics of paddling safety, navigation, and technique. Then, explore area water trails in the area. You’ll paddle across a multitude of lakes, witnessing Christ’s creation at work! Aside from kayaking, enjoy time with your cabin in Bible Study, participating in the Christ Hike, and playing all camp games. This week culminates with an overnight kayak trip to Pelican Island, where you’ll put your new skills to use!

  • June 18-23

    Join us in the Twin Cities for a week of service, accompaniment, and community! This week will focus on learning about refugees and immigration. Walk alongside communities from all over the world as you explore what it means to be sisters and brothers in Christ to all people. After busy days of service and learning, you’ll explore Minneapolis—playing Frisbee in a park, going to a Twins game, and more!

  • July 30-August 4

    Jump on the bus to Omaha for an adventure-filled week of service, learning, and faith! Dive into hunger and food insecurity in Omaha by volunteering at food banks, shelters, and more. Build relationships with individuals and communities who struggle with hunger and homelessness and live into God’s call for us to serve one another. In the midst of service-learning, you’ll explore all Omaha has to offer! Visit the zoo, worship on the Missouri River, and enjoy the rich culture.

  • July 16-21

    Stay closer to camp on the Sisseton Servant Journey! Just 40 miles north of NeSoDak, Sisseton is the largest town on the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Reservation. Learn about Native culture, history, and heritage. You’ll dive into Native identity, the struggles and challenges faced by Native Americans today, and what it means to love our neighbors. Prepare to challenge stereotypes, build relationships, and grow as a Child of God. Spend your evenings visiting local attractions and taking a trip to NeSoDak to spend time on the lake and participate in the Christ Hike.
