Executive Director Rev. Layne D. Nelson serves as the executive director, working with board, staff, and friends of Lutherans Outdoors to facilitate the camps in mission. Layne is a big fan of sunshine, geocaching, and the Minnesota Twins.

Development Director Karen Kraus serves as the development director, coordinating fundraising efforts for annual operating expenses, capital projects and endowment. Karen enjoys hiking, reading, and line dancing.

West River Development Professional Kris Garlick serves as the west river development professional coordinating fundraising efforts. Kris enjoys traveling, cycling, cooking, art/photography, and occasional early morning boot camp.

Marketing Coordinator Mara Stillson serves as the marketing coordinator. Mara enjoys running, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Executive Assistant Laura Eiesland serves as the receptionist, registrar for all summer camping programs and bookkeeper for Lutherans Outdoors.

Account Specialist. Lois Borchardt serves as Lutherans Outdoors account specialist, helping Laura with finances. Lois enjoys playing music, and reading.

Development Assistant Gayle Wisnewski works with Karen on fundraising for Lutherans Outdoors. As you can tell, she has a fondness for polar bears.

Graphic & Website Designer Ryan McCormick is primarily responsible for the design and production of printed and digital materials that promote programs of Lutherans Outdoors. Ryan enjoys entertaining others with his gift of magic, juggling and balloon creations.
