Program Transition For NeSoDak And Joy Ranch

As Lutherans Outdoors continues to offer powerful ministry experiences and strong programs where all are welcome, a restructuring of program positions has taken place at both Joy Ranch and NeSoDak. Beginning in September, Lutherans Outdoors welcomes some familiar faces taking on new responsibilities as Site Directors within the organization. These positions will oversee day-to-day camp operations and all aspects of programming at our wonderful sites.

Welcome Lakyn Muilenburg as the new NeSoDak Site Director!
My name is Lakyn Muilenburg and I hail from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I grew up in Sioux Falls before attending college at Minnesota State University, Mankato. After my sophomore year , I started working at Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry in Cook, MN during my summers. After college, I have had the pleasure of working for NeSoDak Bible Camp in Waubay, SD and Luther Park Bible Camp in Chetek, WI. 

I LOve new adventures, everything camp, and everything Jesus! I’m so excited to be coming back NeSoDak Bible Camp to be part of this wonderful organization and to keep sharing the Good News! 

Welcome Krista into her new role as Joy Ranch Site Director!
My name is Krista Casserly and I have been serving Joy Ranch as the Program Director since May 1, 2018. It has been a busy and rewarding four months learning what an incredible place Joy Ranch is. I look forward in continuing serving as the Site Director. I am from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and am a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. I have served on camp staffs in various seasonal and full time positions at Luther Crest Bible Camp in Minnesota, Flathead Bible Camp in Montana, and Carol Joy Holling Camp, an Outdoor Ministry of Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries.
